Document Checklist

Requirements for Attestation of Commercial Documents:

  •  The original document to be attested from the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and Consular Section, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Kuwait.
  • Original document duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait or by Ministry of External Affairs of Government of India as the case may be.
  • Original Passport of the applicant along with copies of the Passport (front, back and residence page).
  • Original Civil ID of the applicant along with copy of the Civil ID.
Please Note:

This service is for attestation of degree certificates, mark-sheets, and other educational documents. The original degree certificate must first be attested by the competent Indian authorities and then by the Ministry of External Affairs. Non-Indian nationals seeking educational document attestation must submit additional educational proof, and acceptance is subject to Mission approval.

  • If original Marriage Certificate issued by the Registrar of Marriages, duly attested by Home Department of the respective State Government and thereafter by Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi or any of its Branch Secretariats in India, we may accept provided both the names are endorsed in each passport.

  5. If the spouse's name is endorsed on one of the passports, but the other passport was issued before marriage, Copy of duly attested Marriage Certificate must be submitted. The original Marriage Certificate must be presented for verification.
  6. If the spouse's name is endorsed on one of the passports, but the other passport was issued after marriage, then spouse name in both the passports is mandatory.
  7. If neither the husband nor the wife has the spouse's name endorsed on their passports, and the passports were issued after marriage, then both of them must add their spouse's name in each other’s passports.

1.) Driving License for light vehicle

  • Original and valid Driving License. Details of Indian driving licences may be verified on Parivahan Sewa portal (https://parivahan.gov.in/rcdlstatus/?pur_cd=101) using the Indian Driving Licence number and date of birth of the licence holder.
  • Duly filled Affidavit in duplicate.
  • Original Passport of the applicant.

  10. Can I apply for a Relationship Certificate online?
